THE CHARITY'S GRANT AIDING POLICIES

Although the Charity has made significant contributions to the improvement of the environment, the arts, healthcare, and the maintenance of our heritage, the Charity is anxious to ensure that it further develops the extent to which it is able to provide grants to individuals and organisations within the scheme area. It is the function of the Steward to assist potential applicants and to provide initial advice and guidance in respect of applications. To this end the Steward is normally available to discuss aspects of a particular application either with the applicant or with an applicant’s representative. The Steward is normally able to provide an initial opinion as to whether a particular application is likely to be considered to be within the Charity’s scheme.

The Charity’s “Grant Application Guidance Notes”, setting out further background information relating to the Charity, a summary of the Charity’s grant aiding policies, general guidelines as to the preparation and submission of grant applications, and further specific advice and information as to application procedures is available from the Steward as are the grant application forms and the relief and need application forms.
