FINANCIAL SUMMARY AND APPLICATION OF FUNDS

Within the financial year to the 31st December 1999 the Charities’ accounts show a net disposable income of £285,000. Within the same financial period the Charities applied £225,000 to a broad range of grant aided schemes and relief in need applications.

In applying Charity funds, Feoffees work closely with a broad range of support organisations, community organisations and Local Authority departments. Examples of projects with which the Charities have recently been involved include:

In addition to applying funds to these projects, the Charity has through the course of the last few years expended funds in improving its own properties, these works including improvements to shop premises at 56 High Street, improvement works to both Stevens Street and Northampton Road allotment fields, and a scheme of improvement to the Charity’s fourteen flats at Scotland End, off Scotland Road.
