The Market Harborough and The Bowdens Charity is one of the largest charities in the Market Harborough area.
It is an endowed charity, and holds investments in land and property, housing, equities and cash. Income from the Charity's investments is used to provide public benefit in the following areas:-
- Arts
- Education
- Social Welfare
- Relief in Need
- Heritage
- Amateur Sport
- Environment
The Charity welcomes applications for grant assistance relating to projects in these areas, although grants can only be awarded to applicants from within the geographical boundaries of Market Harborough and the villages of Great Bowden and Little Bowden.
All applications must be made on the Charity's application forms and the forms can be obtained from, (and then submitted to), the Steward or the Charity Secretary at the Charity Office, 149 St Mary's Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE16 7DZ. Forms can also be downloaded from this website.
