About Us

Market Harborough and the Bowdens Charity is 25 years old, having been formed in 1994 as a result of an amalgamation of three different charities– the Market Harborough Town Estate and Bates Charity, the Little Bowden Town Estate and the Great Bowden (Town Lands) Charity. You can read more about the history of the charity here.

Today we have a clear objective – to change the lives of people living and working in Market Harborough, Great Bowden and Little Bowden. That means working together with organisations and individuals in the area, providing support, encouragement and funding to make things happen for the greater good of everyone.

We are interested in all aspects of our growing community including sports, the arts, education, health, and heritage.
